Having Fun

My work does not stop at case studies. Here are four things that keep me inspired outside of it.

Hand-drawn
Cards & Gifts

To show my appreciation for the people and effort of individuals in my life, I really enjoy creating handdrawn cards and gifts for the people that I love. I enjoy the excitement that an unexpected delivery can give people in my life. These notes are part of what inspired my personal branding concept of postage and mail.

Jewelry and Metalsmithing

Expressing myself though jewelry has always been a strong interest of mine. Inspired by my mother, grandmothers and great-grandmothers, I used jewelry as a way to express my personal style, often choosing to wear a interesting statement necklace or funky pair of earrings over a plain outfit.  In college, I had the opportunity to learn metal fabrication and began to create my own pieces allowing me to express my interest in jewels in a deeper way

Fiber Arts

I was taught knitting and crocheting at an early age by my great-grandmother, Florence. I joined the crocheting club in my elementary school and my interest in the art has only developed since then. I enjoy all forms of fiber arts and find it very stress releaving. I am currently obsessed with creating filet crochet doilies in any free-time I have. My next goal is to learn how to make bobbin lace.
